About The Site

Started during January exams in 2007 as an excuse not to do revision, it's grown into... well an excuse not to do a lot of things really. All the content has been gathered either through help from the band (who have been stupidly supportive) or from hours of searching for and reading anything on the band at all. The news part of the site is powered by Wordpress and the gigs listing is powered by half a Computer Science degree and a lot of dodgy code. The images have been used with the kind permission of either The SCCC or whoever created them.

About The Name

The name of this site, I Tried On Your Wedding Dress, is taken from the first line of the song AurientEEring. It was chosen as it is roughly the same length as the band name (24 characters long, band name is 23) so it would look similar when typed out. It's also a zillion times better than The Seal Cub Clubbing Club Fan Club Club which is what it nearly got called.
