The legs for the header image are here. This is just a silly little hack to get them to display properly. Well done for looking at the code anyways :P

October 2007

5th Oct

If you've been to see the SCCC in the not so distant past, you're sure to have noticed that catchy new number they've been playing is...

Anyways if you fancy listening to Dawn Lamb, those lovely chaps have put it up on their Myspace for all to listen to. Definately sounds like a future single to us at I Tried On Your Wedding Dress, hope you all enjoy rocking out to it.

There are major developments in the works at Seal Cub hq so keep popping back here for more information as we get it. In the meantime, head along to one of the gigs coming up. We've no idea how good The Smiths Indeed are but if you have friends in love with the Marr and the Morrissey, tell them they the band are brilliant and drag them along with you.

Laterz.

It seems that those Seal Cub chaps are off on a jolly around France come the end of the month. Having absolutely no knowledge of anything to do with France other than how not to woo a girl from there, we have pretty much no idea where these gigs are taking place. Using our powers of deduction and a friend of the site who is doing a university placement there, we reckon they're near Paris maybe. So if you're around there in the last week of October/first week in November, check out our gigs page and see if you can't catch the band during their globetrotting.

We've been having a bit of a spring clean around the site the last few days so hopefully all the information here is a bit more up-to-date and relevant.

Stay classy peeps and give us a buzz if you're going to the Birmingham or London gigs with The Smiths Indeed and yeah you can help me look a bit less like billy-no-mates.

16th Oct

As much as I hate to use this site for selfish reasons, this is pretty much an emergency!

The Birmingham date with the Smiths Indeed has only gone and sold out (who knew that anyone would go to a gig in Birmingham) so I'm going to have to make a pilgrimmage to Wirral land to get my two servings of Seal Cubs this winter. If anyone in the Liverpool/Hoylake/anywhere near happens to have a small piece of floor where a nice clean website maker who doesn't think he snores much can kip on the night of the 12th November then that would be greatly appreciated. I don't really fancy getting mugged or shot at Liverpool station in the wee hours. Please e-mail me if you can help at all or if you know of any cheap hotels/brothels nearby where I can stay.

Anyways, sorry about that and thank you for coming to the site still.

Searching through the delightful website belonging to Jon Owen, I spotted a nice piece of SCCC artwork that as far as I'm aware hasn't been used anywhere yet.

Lovely SCCC picture

Have a good evening everyone.

Good Wednesday peoples.

Just in case you didn't know/forgot, you can buy all manner of Seal Cubs merch from the meow music ebay shop here. We recommend that you get both the World Of Fashion single and a snazzy t-shirt. Although the other day whilst wearing my SCCC t-shirt I was asked if the squirrel featured on the front was actually a beaver and if I was making some sort of statement about the female nether regions. I wasn't making any statements, just buying a sandwich.

I hope you're all booked up for the tour.

25th Oct

Sorry if you've tried to go on the forums recently, they are pretty much buggered. We'll be fixing them in the next day or so so get ready to get foruming peoples.

25th Oct

You lucky peoples! If you head over to the SCCC Myspace you can hear the album version of Seal Cub classic PSPM.

It's really fucking good isn't it.

Just working on the forum now, you'll be able to express yourself very soon.

26th Oct

Lots of short posts all over the shop today but yeah never mind.

The forums are back online! You'll have to register again if you were signed up before but it's probably for the best as hopefully there will be less arsing about on these ones with rubbish being posted all over the shop.

Please sign up to stop me from talking to myself.
