an unofficial SCCC fansite
The legs for the header image are here. This is just a silly little hack to get them to display properly. Well done for looking at the code anyways :P
June 200710th JunAfter much messing about with the site, one email with the hosting tech support got the site all fixed up again... Oh well, at least we're back up again in time for the tour which starts in Birmingham tomorrow night. Haven't heard from MySpace correspondent Jenniferr in a while so either she is being lazy or there hasn't been any news on the SCCC front. The first is more likely. Anyways, we will report back from tomorrows gig on Tuesday and from Wednesdays gig in London on Thursday. P.S. Birmingham Bar Academy obviously doesn't have enough "B"s for their headliners sign above the door as apparently "The Seal Clubbing Clu" are headlining tomorrow. They sound good so might have to check them out. 11th JunSmashing set as always from those Club Clubbing chaps. They debuted a new song Bathtime which is a pretty kick-ass instrumental in a funny time signature. The set has gained a pretty swish old-school black-n-white television which flickers about like a school girl on heat when someone jumps hard on the stage or a rockin' bit of song gets played. We started with a program that looked like it was about World War II presented by Peter Snow before Have I Got News For You and then some other show which was after Have I Got News For You during the end of the set. The band played:
Jolly good set, see you on Wednesday in London. 14th JunThe SCCC brand of "farm emo" rolled into London last night and it was headbangingly good. The same set as in Birmingham and Bristol was performed and it was just as good. More lights and scenery were in use this time with the return of the green rabbit. There is some big festival news coming soon so keep your eyes open for that. 15th JunAs the band have mentioned it on their official website, I think it is safe for us to say that the next single released by The Seal Cub Clubbing Club will be... Apparently, post production is almost complete on the video (more information on that here) so hopefully we'll be able to see that in the very near future. As we mentioned before, there should be an announcement about The SCCC playing at a major festival coming soon. It is pretty exciting news but keep your hair on. 26th JunSorry this is a bit late but we've left an important part of our brain somewhere in a field in Somerset. The Seal Cub Clubbing Club are playing Leeds Festival! No details on where or when at the moment, but you can be sure it'll be in August sometime on the festival site. It's sure to be a massive gig for the band so if you're going to Leeds, make sure you go and take all your friends and all the Jesuses you meet on the way to cheers to boys on. On another note, Liz Green is damn awesome and very friendly. 30th JunNot sure if we've mentioned this here yet but The SCCC have recorded a session which includes a totally new song written especially for the show. The session will be on BBC Radio Merseyside after 8pm tomorrow (Sunday) night. You can listen live online here. You will be able to listen again via that site but we'll try and be a little bit illegal and record it for you if we can work out how. |

This site was made by Simon Lawson in 2007 and he hopes the band likes it. If you want to make something of it, please use the contact page. If you want the real Seal Cub Clubbing Club site, go here. This site is powered by Wordpress and a lot of crappy programming. |
