The Seal Cub Clubbing Club are going to Sheffield.

They will play at the Seal Club club night at the city's Corporation venue on the 9th of August. Headlining the night will be the creatively titled, Meat For A Dark Day.

The Seal Cub Radio Merseyside session recorded in late June was put out last night and we've recorded it for you... This is pretty illegal probably and if you're a Seal Cub or a BBC and want us to take this down then just give us a shout and we will do.

The session features new song Hold Up Your Collars written the day before the session, a jolly nice interview about the name and the beginnings and "farm emo" masterpiece, My Ten Acres. Riding bareback on a Fresian indeed.

On their Myspace, the band have stated that the name "Hold Up Your Collars" was a mistake and they've asked for suggestions... If you can do better then give them a shout. For the record, the I Tried On Your Wedding Dress suggestion is "Waving And Brazilian Dancing With The Seal Cub Clubbing Club" but with less capitalisation and more punctuation maybe to follow in the SCCC song naming style.

Oh just noticed that we got a lovely mention on the Seal Cubs Myspace due to our dubious behaviour with regards to making music available illegally...

Never mind, I'm sure the BBC will ask nicely before getting nasty.

In other news, it's the last EVER Valhalla night tonight! Unfortunately, we can't afford to send a representative from the site to the night but you'd better go anyways as it looks like it's going to be a top night full of Seal Cubs and Lazers.
