The legs for the header image are here. This is just a silly little hack to get them to display properly. Well done for looking at the code anyways :P

February 2007

5th Feb

Sorry about the lack of news here but the internet was down over the weekend at I Tried On Your Wedding Dress HQ. During the downtime we watched The Fountain which was confusing and average and we purchased a Wii. Neither of these have anything to do with the Clubbing Club but there isn't much news at the moment and we wanted to show we're still alive.

An anonymous contributor made a picture showing the Seal Cub Clubbing Club. Here it is...
The Seal Cub CLUBBING Club
Thanks anonymous contributor, your picture is really ace!

Jenniferrr, Myspace correspondent here! Simonononon's Internet has been exceptionally rubbish lately and he sends his apologies for the lateness.

There were a couple of bulletins posted on the Seal Cub myspace on 8th Feb, and they are as follows:

Good Werk

the folks at glasswerk liverpool have made us their artist of the week... we even feature twice in their top ten! for just about the oldest photograph and biog of us ever, check it out!

in other news, our new website is being put through thousands of minute tests to establish its workability, so expect it up soon at thesealcubclubbingclub.com.

Hoist That Rag!

March 22nd VALHALLA @ Liverpool Zanzibar

I'm gonna be banging out some Tom Waits covers upstairs, with a little help from some people you'll know and some you won't... as well as the usual in top class bands downstairs...

Thats all for now!

15th Feb

It seems that the Cub Clubbing Club have been sneakily adding gigs to their Myspace page. They put one up for Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff the other day which is on Thursday 15th March and today they added a date at London's Borderline on Friday 16th March. This is great news and hopefully it's just a matter of time before a full tour is announced.

Information on new gigs as they are announced will be available on our gigs page.

12th Feb

Back to relative normality here at I Tried On Your Wedding Dress after a fustrating few days. The Nik, solo, Tom Waits, VALHALLA gig in March (which is now listed on our fixed gigs page) is mentioned as being "with a little help from some friends" on their Myspace gig listings. Secretish SCCC gig? Other friends helping out? Or will Tom Waits be giving Nik a hand himself? I guess you'll have to head down Zanzibar way on the 22nd March to find out.

Unfortunately there will probably not be any fansite presence at the gig because of a combination of slothfulness and coursework deadlines but if we manage to pull our fingers out enough beforehand then we could well see you there.

Good eve.

18th Feb

Hoorah!

Another gig has been added to the listings on the Seal Cub Myspace site. They are playing the Carling Academy in Liverpool on March 14th (my Dads birthday). White Trash ana Half Cast are confirmed as support but by the sounds of it there will be others.

Looking forward to more dates being added over the coming days hopefully.

25th Feb

Our Myspace correspondent, Jemmifer has received a bulletin with more information on the confirmed gigs coming up in March.

"we've been away for a while and we're scared you've all forgotten about us...

So exciting news there, we can confirm that there will be a representative from this site at the London gig and hopefully an external correspondent (someone we know who goes to uni there) at the Cardiff gig. So even if you can't go to any of the dates (because you are lazy or stupid or in another country) we'll have some top notch reporting from them here on I Tried On Your Wedding Dress.

There will be more gigs confirmed shortly we are lead to believe, but as the band are between agents right now it's taking a while to get the shows booked. Should be a great tour though with more songs from the new album like last tour.

Tickets for the confirmed shows are available at See Tickets or Ticketweb. We recommend Ticketweb as they are slightly less harsh with their booking fees and they allow venue collection if you want it.
